A more personal update
The Elephant in the room is: “Why are the no new events happening this summer?”. Well, the reason for it is both, great news, but also means that there will not be new events for some time: I am getting married!
Yes, I have taken the big step and asked my girlfriend to become my wife. We are planning to get married this September, and so, much of the planning is happening right now. Many weekends are needed for wedding-related reasons. And on top of that, we have also been invited to additional weddings, resulting in practically no free weekends left for my events.
Thus, this summer will not be filled with outdoor events. Many of my plans must wait until next year. Considering the uncertainties still in the air, it may well be for the better after all. In the meantime, we remain flexible and will continue to run ad hoc events, such as after-work hiking, bouldering in Freiruum Zug, or early morning Swimming in lake Zug.
Although my favorite big outdoor Mountaineering adventure and the training courses to get there are not on the menu this year, we do have a couple of aces up our sleeves. So stay tuned for some more relaxed events around Zug and the area.
